I got into this industry just at the tail end of when the going was good, and let me tell you, free martinis flowed like baboon tweets at this time of year. Multiple parties every week and those are just the ones an Ed Asst could get invited to. I’m still so depressed about it that I frown at all apocalyptical blog posts in knowing anger.
